PLL Calibration guide¶
If you have updated your AMFITRACK Sensor firmware to version 3.1+ and want to use the PLL autostartup feature, calibrating your sensor first is necessary for correct operation.
To do this, place the sensor and source on a flat surface, such as a table. The sensor must be placed 0.6 meters away from the source, directly on the X-axis in the direction of the USB-C port. The sensor should be oriented with the LED facing upwards and the sensor turned towards the source, as shown below in Figure 1.
When the sensor and source has been placed as described above, open the “Amfitrack Viewer” application on your computer. When the devices have loaded, do the following, and refer to Figure 2 and Figure 3 for a visual guide:
Click on the AMFITRACK Sensor you want to calibrate on the left-hand side of the window.
Click on the “Options” tab on the right-hand side of the window.
Set the “Config mode” parameter to ‘1’ and click save.
Click on the “Source#1 config” tab.
When you are ready to start calibration, set the “PLL sensor bias calibration” parameter to ‘1’ and click save.
Wait for sensor calibration to finish. Sensor calibration generally takes less than 10 seconds. When calibrating the sensors “State” changes to “PLL Calibration”, when the state changes away from this, calibration is finished.
